The series of images were created using a novel technique I have been experimenting with that uses bacteria to manipulate the analog film negatives in order to produce truly unique images, that are then digitized and then executed into large-scale prints of varying proportions.
The digitalisation process is complex and requires many steps, alowing high-def details at 4K resolution, to exquisitely show every microbial and fungal interventions on the film.
My entire body of work revolves around the themes of life and death, of chaos and destruction, metamorphosis and rebirth.
