Photography has been a constant companion since my late teens, gradually gaining in importance in my life. Due to my work, I have lived and worked in more than a dozen countries on different continents. When I moved to Singapore in 2016, I switched from a 35mm film camera to a medium format Mamiya 7 and started to document various aspects of the city, loosely linked to the theme of control. These pictures form part of four series, all connected and centered on Singapore.
