I'm a french documentary photographer. As such, I'm interested in the evolution of the architectural landscape and the appropriation of the territory by Man. I believe that the landscape echoes the state of society, it is political and social. In this series called "Aéroréfrigérant" ("Air cooler"), I question the omnipresence of symbolic visual markers of industry in our landscape. I chose cooling stacks, its strongest symbol, with the idea of questioning their visual impact. Although strongly criticized, they have integrated an industrial heritage made of chimneys, silos or tanks and have become an intrinsic part of the landscape.
