"This excursion shows the viewer the backside of the shiny high-rise metropolis”.
Contrary to the prejudice that the metropolis of Hong Kong is crowded and noisy, I lead the viewer to quiet, almost deserted places. The back streets border directly on the lively alleys. The streets provide the skyscrapers with infrastructure and are the backside of the shining skyscraper scenery. For me, the untidy backs of the skyscrapers are a symbol of our society; outside everything is neat and tidy, if you look a little deeper, it becomes gloomy, lively and effortless.
