I feel most alive when I'm in nature. I was born in Venezuela which is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. For the past months, I've been working on a project called 'Biophilia'. It's an exploration of our attraction to nature and the desire to connect with other forms of life. I'm curious to capture how that affection is expressed and how inseparable we are from the ecosystems we inhabit. In an age of climate change, it feels urgent to rekindle our relationship with the natural world. I hope these images can give you a sense of that connection, if anything.
